Welcome to www.missourifoxtrotters.com. The Missouri Fox Trotters ancestors are the Thoroughbred, Arabs and Morgan Horses. Through selective breeding a horse with a broken gait was developed. The horse walks with its front feet and trots with its hind feet. The gait covers ground quickly and is quite comfortable to sit for long periods of time. The horse was used in Missouri and Arkansas as an all purpose horse. The fox trotter comes in any color. It can be up to 16 hands tall. Buy or sell your horses on this website.
